The story follows Tessa's life that took an unfortunate turn in year 2019. Things went out of her control with her impossibly large amount of student loan. She was conscripted into a secret agent training facility, and, surprise, surprise, Jibril came to offer her the opportunity to win millions of dollars. Follow Tessa's adventure all the way to the shady, nebulous game that has been going on in secret.

Update: overview. Of course, Student Loan Almost Killed Me is whimsically created following the Squid Game hype. But I got a little too absorbed in writing all the background information, so it has gone sideways a little bit. Here is the broad structure of the story.

1. Chapter 1-3. Events leading Tessa to Gardia Falls.

2. Chapter 4-10. Tessa gets used to life in Gardia Falls, training to be a secret agent.

3. Chapter 11-19. Mission in the forest of Baruru.

4. Chapter 20-24. Transitions; events leading to the death game, the Caldera.

5. Chapter 25-28. The first game! (book 1 end)
