People that could really use an outsiders help for the problems that plague their lives.

Lucky for the poor helpless schmucks on the other side, your newly arrived average Joe inexplicably knows just how to use the advanced knowledge of our modern age to save the day.

You've heard this before? Good, now let's take this troupe a step further and discuss fanfiction.

Stories about your average fanboy getting dropped right into his favorite story- a place he knows all the lore and stories, as well as the tips and tricks of our own world and what-not, which he combines and uses to its fullest extent to save the day with style and a seemingly uncanny precognitive insight.

Now, this story is somewhat similar to what we've discussed so far; a man who may or maynot have died, finding himself not quite where he remembered leaving himself.

While the title tells us exactly where he ended up, specifically: the fantastical World of Pokémon, our intrepid adventure has just one question before embarking on this unwilling adventure.

"What's a Pokéman?"

So- this is the first time I've really done anything like this, see, I wanted to write my own original story but the only experience I have with writing basically begins and ends with my highschool education.

So instead of jumping straight into the deep end and exposing all of my genius ideas to the world before I can confidently write them into existence, I wanted to try something a little lower stakes, so fanfic it is.

This is my first real rodeo, but I want to learn, so be brutal with the criticism if you would be so kind.

**There will be a lot of swears for the first couple of chapters but I plan to peter out that language as the story goes on**
