Staircase Hotel (The Strange Unending Tales of Dr. Albius StrangeGlove)

Note: The stories in this series are a mind-f* of bizarro what-the-hellness, have no endings, and it is left up to you the reader, to determine both what the hell is going on and what you think the ending was.

This is straight up Bizarro/Absurdist Kitchen Sink Fantasy, so don't expect it to make a lot of sense. It's just a weird thing I wrote for the fun of it, because I wanted too.

As part of the 52 Stories in 52 Weeks Writing Challenge, this story was written in under 7 days, and our first entry Staircase Hotel, is using this writing prompt as inspiration: [WP] A ghost of a knight has sworn to aid you in the darkest hour of your life. You gradually forgot about The Red Knight, remembering it as a weird dream. But now, as the clock hits 12:00, Monday, he appears before you.

I am using the r/WritingPromts subReddit to get most (probably all) of my writing prompts this year. (I've been doing the 52 Stories in 52 Weeks Challenge since 2010... but 2021/2022 is my first year of uploading them live as I write them. Also, I've never finished the challenge with a full 52 stories, and I'm hoping that by uploading these here, I'll be better motivated, to actually finish all 52 weeks of the challenge... and if all goes well, hopefully, we won't stop at 52 stories or 52 weeks and will keep going for another year after. Let's see how it goes.

Due to the nature of the challenge that was used to write it, all chapters for the story must be written over the course of a single week, and once the week is over, no more chapters are added. Thus WHY every story in "The Strange Unending Tales of Dr. Albius StrangeGlove" series have no ending and it is left up to the reader to try to figure out how they think the story would have ended, had it had an ending.

I've listed this as "Reader Interactive" because the main character is YOU/2nd PoV, and the ending is left open for the reader to make up an ending on their own.

Due to the nature of the 52 Stories in 52 Weeks Writing Challenge, no book in "The Strange Unending Tales of Dr. Albius StrangeGlove" series will ever have more than 7 chapters, and will be considered complete, once the end of the week is finished.
