The Gloom is a civilisation of scavengers cast out in the middle of a desert, protective of their belongings and hellbent on upping their stock, even if it means killing innocent people.

Ashley Bone lives here, an outsider born into the taboo lifestyle after Jet Corp took over the solar system. She and a group of friends raid the wastes until, eventually, they stick their noses where they don't belong.
