One moment, Torin is trying to save a shih tzu from a burning car, and the next he finds himself plunged into a world of strange monsters and creatures.

He quickly learns he's become the new ruler of Caher Carrigan, a ruined fortress seemingly filled with beautiful and dangerous women.
