Everything that happens to his character in the game happens to him in real life.

Marcus couldn't resist the urge to try it. World River Expedition--a game right out of an internet legend, a creepypasta as old as he was. It turned out that the game lived up to the legend. Now he hears, smells, tastes, and feels everything that happens in the game.

World River Expedition was supposed to be a survival adventure game about summoning magical creatures to solve puzzles, but he'll learn to harness the game's glitches to equip the creatures themselves as weapons. Man-eating vines? That's his ranged weapon. The strike of a rattlesnake? A basic melee attack. The World River is filled with creatures whose powers he can exploit to edge closer to beating the game. He had better figure it out fast because, as he'll soon find out, not all of the monsters in the game were supposed to be there.

Inspired by Jumanji (1995) and The Neverending Story (1984), World River Expedition is a survival adventure LitRPG with a unique creature-collector combat system, glitches that the main character will have to outsmart, and an otherworldly mystery to be solved along the way.

Chapters will be between 1,500 and 2,000 words long and published MWF.
