The land is asunder.

It is not nature's indifferent hand that has caused the earth to tear from the seams, but the duplicitous minds of men and women alike that have declared it their natural right to war amongst themselves, with no regard for the primordial powers that have existed since the inception of the Unknown Land.

The soul of man is ever-evolving, and yet it is decaying at the core as the clock ticks away ever so slowly.

To escape their impending fate, the queendom of Anemera and the republic of Stranga seek to reconcile under the same roof, and so a village amongst the willows becomes the last hope of a dying civilization. But the village contains secrets that threaten the very foundations of human civility, hidden desires and delusional minds running rampant in a doomed earth.

It is up to an unknowing diplomat and her reluctant gunman to weave their way through the illusion of peace, to quench the thirst of the ravenous, and to lift a curse from over the heads of countless innocent peoples. But the village isn't seeking a generous rescue- it yearns for freedom.

A freedom that promises nothing, and devours everything.
