At 23 years of age, Alexander has already broken a world record and is working at the top hospital in the planet. By all accounts and purposes, he's living the dream- except for the fact he was born with the lowest affinity to fire mana in history in a world populated by Fire Elementalists. Raised as a human with no magic, he pursues the path of medicine, but when the legendary 9-colored flame chooses him, an outsider, as one of its inheritors, he is thrust into the machinations of fate.

Pulled into the currents of war, Alexander must decide if he is to stand on the sidelines or do the unthinkable and become a warrior. Whatever his decision may be, he must get stronger… or at the very least learn how to use fire.
