But when the drugs make Rorri's mind-bending illusion magic go out of control, a terrible mistake threatens to have him arrested, killed, or worse – if anyone finds out. Paranoid and strung out, Rorri hides – from the Guard, from his friends, and from himself – only to end up face-to-face with the very people who torched his homeland.

The story is complete and will be released in two volumes. Some chapters will be much shorter than others. Due to the RoyalRoad minimum word requirement, some entries will contain two chapters.
