In the far future in the distant past, humankind is in peril. In a desperate attempt to save what few of them remain, they pool their resources and manage to send a handful of settlers into the past. They found the Shipwrights' Guild and the Galactic Academy to ensure the preservation of knowledge, and quarantine Earth in order to protect their ancestral home, but what will happen when the Guild and the Academy decide to break this quarantine and enlist a human to their ranks?
