Lucas and his clan fought bravely against the Devils. The war raged on for years and both sides suffered a great loss. To avoid further deaths, humanity and Devils proposed a duel. The winner takes it all. Lucas slayed the Devil King, but before he could rejoice, he felt a sharp pain in his chest. Betrayed by those who he called comrades, Lucas ended up with a sword, stabbed in his back. He died before he could see the face of his killer. However, due to some miracle, he survived, or more precisely, he was cursed by the Devil King. After that day, every time he died, he would wake up in a body of a new person in a new world. And all the experience he earned in his previous life would get carried over to the new one. Then, there is the irregular System that shows him the time of his upcoming death and resurrects him on his death.

Thus, begins Lucas's journey through endless struggles of life and death as he tries to find a way to break his curse or maybe find someone who could free him from his irregular System.
