Azani had a bright future, to some degrees in her original life. An alchemist, the curator of a cursed box and well traveled adventurer she found herself relegated to living with her Grandmother once the Temple declared war upon the heavens and hells. Finding demons and angels to be a source of endless power that the creatures themselves could not use it was not long until both were destroyed, the gods killed and those with their blood used to power the machinery that replaced the afterlife. Unfortunately this war would take the life of Azani's mother, and Grandmother, left alone due to her own strength would decide that a world with neither gods nor afterlife had any point in remaining. As such she would cash in a favor with another, and so Azani would find herself, for lack of a better way of putting, sacrificed to a primal deity of another world so that her soul could be claimed and made to fit with the new realm she would find herself in. This new world, a world of ever growing potential, formed from the corpses of the dead gods as their war in Heaven and the Night Beyond the world continued. A world in which she was altered, and no longer familiar with herself. Authors Note for New Readers (Hopefully there are some.)Don't have a cover yet, I'll eventually get one. Additionally this is being written largely for fun. I have a huge document on the main characters species and the setting and systems and what not but no real plot planned. I don't really plan for it to be horrible and things will start off with her growing into her new self and what not. While it does involve someone getting sent to a different world, its from fantasy to dark fantasy which doesn't really have a tag but grimdark doesn't quite work I think? Also all the warnings are ticked because I don't want to have to censor things that I end up writing. Tags will likely be updated as the story goes. I don't have a backlog, so it'll be posted as its written though I might make a backlog if I feel like it. Despite all that feel free to tell me what ya think in comments (even if you think its horrible).
