Once upon a time, Achylys was the most elite of the First Calamity Subjugation Squad. But then his previous employer's rogue minions did the unthinkable: they betrayed him by employing the most powerful anti-calamity tool and murdered him. Talk about rude!

But, as fate would have it, Achylys wasn't ready to give up just yet. He was given a second chance in a new world, complete with strange powers and all kinds of cool tricks. He was ready to take on the world again, but there was just one tiny catch: he had to become the "representative" of a completely insane kitten goddess... whatever that meant.

Who cares about trading one employer for another though? Achylys was ready to zap his way through anything and everything that got in his way. He was the master of all things zappy-zappy, and he wasn't afraid to use his talents for this cosmic kitten who'd give him a chance at a second life!

Sure, Achylys might have a few screws loose, but who doesn't these days? With his powers and his insane cat goddess by his side, he was ready to take on the world again. Who needs sanity when you've got zappy-zappy powers, right?
