What can a parent hope to accomplish when their child's very soul is at stake? When the woods turn cold and the nights grow long, when the fires fade and the shadows claw, what can any man do?

For the wise man ever chooses to walk the old ways, and he alone still remembers how such fears are banished back where they rightfully belong - with fire and sword and blood and curse.
