Xu Tianyu, daughter and only child of the foremost martial god and the matriarch of the rain goddesses, has been cast out of the nine heavens, stripped of her divinity and left for dead in a muddy puddle as punishment for an unforgivable offense. The crime? Going against the will and decree of the Five Colors Emperor by bringing rain to the mortal realm to end a divinely mandated drought, unwilling and unable to tolerate the suffering of mankind as her fellow gods do.

However, this tragedy of injustice only serves to stoke the flames of determination and ambition within her gentle heart. At her lowest point, as she lay amongst the tadpoles swimming in the muddy waters and her tears mingled with the falling rain, Xu Tianyu swears she'll claw her way back up to the Heavens and avenge herself and all others who have suffered from their cruel apathy, no matter what it takes or costs!

So begins her tale of heroism and a long and arduous journey to return to the Heavens from a muddy puddle.
