Lydia has not had a thought for Hel, or anything other than her master, the succubus Kali, for a long time now. She has no idea how long it has been since she first begun to serve her lady. Such thoughts are unneeded for a servant of an Archdemon. Every moment she is in service to her mistress is like a drug to her, filling her up glee. Unfortunately, she is so rudely "saved" by a hero and their entourage on an assault upon her mistress. Now forced to heal from being enthralled by her mistress, and forced to go through withdrawals of her mistress' love. At the edge of the world spirit beasts and monsters roam free. Where hunters and rangers call their home. A guild at the reaches has its fair share of hunters looking to make their marks and a overly cautious guild marm to guide them. Sally has no time to consider the teachings of cultivators being too busy teaching starry eyed hunter wannabes out in the boonies. It isn't the most prestigious assignment, but for a cautious huntress looking to make it without risking life and limb? It suits just fine. AN: This is a side project more than anything else. I have another project I am working on "Birth-Rights" that I have been putting a lot of work into. However, being stuck in revision hell is making me antsy and I want to be uploading chapters for something so this project is what I am doing for that. I am working a full time job as well as a secondary gig for extra cash so it will be awhile until I can have a regular upload schedule. That being said I will try to upload a chapter a week. As an additional aside I have the rough idea of what I'm doing with this story and will move it towards that goal but this is also me just having fun with a story and doing what feels enjoyable.
