John was returning home from a long day at work when the sky was torn asunder and the whole world changed.

The planet was flooded with undying horrors, and to make matters worse, electricity and all modern weaponry became unusable, forcing people to rely on wits, sharp edges, or blunt force to survive the first contact with the mindless monsters.
