An Eldritch Horror Wants to Fall in Love follows an eldritch creature that has lived underground for several decades. All that time in the lonesome dark has left them rather lonely, however, and so they decide to venture out into the world to find others, to find a lover.

But the world above their dark lair has been forever scarred by war.

Nobody knows who fired the first shot, but thermonuclear bombs fell all over the world on the Day of Fire. Those that survived the nuclear holocaust either lived in far-flung communities or they were protected from the rain of fire and radioactive ash.

What sort of welcome will our underground friend receive in such a wounded world?
