Life has many twists and turns, some good and some bad, and sometimes you can't do anything but roll with the punches as they come. Still, though, how does one prepare themselves to learn most of what they know is an outright lie and they find themselves more-or-less a crude rendition of Frankensteins' monster?

In this fiction, we follow someone who has had this happen to them, much to their own great dissatisfaction, and to top it all off thrown into space to deal with aliens and the like. Overall, this is the makings of a really bad time...
