The year is 2021 and Earth is struggling to keep itself afloat. Evohumans are running amok and the Allied Nations are fighting to police the chaos they inflict on the global population. The world teeters on the brink, edging ever closer to total collapse and so far, it doesn't look like anyone is able or even willing to stop it.

Maxis David Troy was just another unimportant sixteen-year-old highschooler until his Awakening. Now, armed with the power to improve, build upon, and alter any object he touches, Max attempts to find his place in a world of two-faced superheroes and megalomaniacal villains.

But nothing is ever what it seems.

All over the world, warlords hold territories and viciously fight whoever threatens their authority. The capital of New Elpis' is no different and Max is quick to learn that things are never simply black and white. Bayside is rotting by the year and it's only a matter of time until the dam breaks. It's a dog-eat-dog world and trust is a currency all on its own.
