In 2306, humanity made a spectacular technological leap following its encounter with the Gor'Shin, an advanced extraterrestrial people. Today spread throughout the galaxy, humanity is experiencing a relatively prosperous era despite some tensions with the most distant colonies from the solar system.

Ethan, a young recruit from Delta section sent to the outer edges of the inhabited solar systems, will quickly be confronted with the reality of the field.
