For a cyclops, Grugg was happy to live a solitary and simple life. However, after a chance encounter with a wizard goes awry, he is swept up in an ongoing murder investigation. With brains and brawn (somewhat) aligned and a shadowy town steeped in criminality, the pair find themselves stumbling into both strange friendships and dark secrets that threaten to unravel higher stakes than his mountain meals (goats).

Through injury and deceit, they soon find out that mystery and danger are never too far behind when working as a Private Eye.
