The gods play their grand Divine Game in the mortal world by granting their blessing, giving chosen champions and pawns both the ability to see their personal Akashic Records, and offering trials and quests to battle and undermine their opponents' own blessed champions, sometimes for a grander plan, sometimes just to play the Game.

In one, out of the way forest, a maliciously bored deity offers a simple wolf one such trial, offering wisdom and power in exchange for entertainment.

I don't have a great synopsis for this quite yet. I just started writing this on a whim when I got stuck on a chapter of another story I'm writing, and I don't know where it's going yet. I also don't have any cover art for it, because it's way too hot to use my tablet right now! Yay!

Wherever it ends up, I'm hoping it'll be gay and fun to write and read, though.
