Humanity's hubris has doomed Earth. With natural resources at an all time low, the governments of the world were forced to find somewhere where humans could reside. Using experimental warp technology, 10 individuals called the Asylum Seekers were warped to the nearest habitable planet in order to begin the terraforming process. But when Asylum Seeker Evan Vonlichten wakes up, he finds himself in a strange place, one where robed mages bend reality to their will, monsters roam the countryside, and storms of immense power ravage the land. With only his mechanical body, an overly-serious A.I. in his head, and his army of robots, Evan must find a way to survive in this new world, and maybe try to do some good along the way.

This story is a slow burn, but it speeds up as it goes on. The beginning might be a bit weak, but it gets better as I found more of my writing style :)
