An Insurrection has spiraled out of control in the Republic of Rambell. Anarchy and riots are spreading like a plague to surrounding provinces, with gunfights also beginning to sprout between insurrectionists and military personnel. In an attempt to help curb the violence, Atlis sends one of their ambassadors to the Nation which ultimately ends in disaster.

Outraged by the unwarranted executions of their own, the revolting provinces calling themselves 'The Federation' are labeled as an Foreign Terrorist Organization which sets the stage for the rest of story.

Follow Black Shard, an Enhanced Company of soldiers known as Shards that are tasked in finding and apprehending the leader of the Federation before things get worse.
