History as she knew it nears the edge of a cliff.

The demonic horde has swept across eastern Vania, destroying kingdoms in their warpath. And yet even as the eastern realms struggle to hold back the unending tide, the cliff crumbles not from the front, but behind.

In the south, the heirs of an ancient empire claws at each others throats rather than face the common enemy. To the west, revolution boils underneath the veneer of prosperity as the people chafe against royal authority - made unwitting pawns of an ambitious queen's game. And in the east, far across the twisting seas and mountains in the heartland of the demon continent, a girl of seventeen shoves the Demon King's head in a sack.

Dusk was dawning upon the old world, and Marianne would be the one who sets the sun.
