Peace ends when darkness rises. As it was written in the old scriptures, a time when men wage war against their brethren, led by greed, jealousy and desire. The black gates of disaster will come forth and from them creatures of the deepest corner of hell will flock the earth.

Wars raze the continent, villages are sacked and destroyed. Men are hanged and murdered, women are soiled and sold. These are dark times, but even worse shadows loom in the horizon. There are few who understand the monstrosity that lies within humanity, and fewer still, know what lies in store.

However, not all hope has been lost yet. The fate of humanity lies at the hands of few selected men and women. Those who were chosen by the divine to wield their sacred weapons and purge the earth of corruption.

Nevertheless, will that be enough? The fate of humanity hangs on its redemption, and even those who wield the sacred gear might not turn back the wheel of carnage.
