Set in the near future. Andrew Lather had a great life. He had married the woman of his dreams and they were both selected to be on the most important mission of his day. Then he was replaced on the mission and his wife had to stay on. Tragedy struck, the mission was sabotaged, and her ship went missing. Now Andrew is on a mission to find his missing wife and the crew of her ship. While on a training run the ship he is now on unexpectedly jumps in into the galaxy where his wife is lost. Andrew, finds himself thrust into the middle of an ancient war between a race of magical elves and their ancient enemies.
