Truths such as these are shattered in the aftermath of Ori Suba's escape from an infernal prison halfway across Fate.

To have any chance of returning home, Ori must fight demons and monsters, learn magic, and form unlikely pacts with supernatural beings. Meanwhile, through the process of undertaking arcane trials, Ori reveals his Affinity — one unique enough to upset the finely balanced powers across Fate and give birth to a new age.

As an Irregular traversing 'The Path', Ori must learn to weigh his desires against the needs of his bonds and the man he must become.

With no one to hold his hand and no prophecies to rely on, Ori must fight for his future.He must earn his strength and craft the torch that enlightens not only his path but the rest of the human race, whether he wants to, or not.

This LitRPG story will have a heavy focus on magic, life being a summoned entity, crafting, relationship building, and clearing monster-infested Aether Rifts. It will feature a main character that becomes overpowered after an extended period at level 0. (Chapter 14 for the first character sheet)

Long stretches of the story will contain periods of arcane theory crafting, slice-of-life moments, politics, romance, explicit content (MF, MFF+), weddings, babies, and high-fidelity ultraviolence.
