Nothing at all. It sounds too good to be true. After all, only a fool would trust a demon. Yet, despite his misgivings, Darian accepts the demon's offer and takes his first steps on the path towards immortality.

(Demon of Dawn and Dusk is a redraft of my first story on Royal Road, Fist of the Fire God. While there are many similarities, this is a different story altogether. Just a fair warning.)
