But a rare few are able to bring out their inner strength to access the Hidden System, which grants great power and fame. These Users often become heroes, defending humanity both against domestic villains and alien threats.
Jacob, however, is not the idealistic type. He isn't the guy who saves old ladies from burning buildings or fights the big bad guy to save humanity. He only wants to get into the hero gig for money, and to protect his childhood friend. He's spent years trying to become a User with no success.
