Leaves of autumn fall. / Shadows become cast below. / Umbrage, be the light.

With one of the weakest Arts known to man, Aster knew that there was a very small chance he'd become one of the Archivists of the Concord of Alabaster. Still, he held onto that hope since he was a child, working hard to improve his own Art. Training his skills earlier than many others, through various experimentation and hard work, Aster had his family's flower shop as the perfect environment for it.

But dreams can only stay dreams in the face of reality. Spring was over, and the autumn leaves began to fall for Aster once his peers began to take their Arts seriously. His resignation from achieving his dream was soon, despite being accepted into his dream school, and he knew that he had no choice but to continue his family's business as he began being left behind by those around him.

Yet, when Aster is attacked by wild beasts on the first day of school, Aster faces a new uncertainty about his own Art.

Hello friends! I'm sure you're wondering about what themes you'll be expecting from my debut novel: The Falling Leaves! So here they are:

slice of life, monster-taming (in a way), systems, drama, organization-building, progression, urban fantasy, and school life.

There may be more, but these will be the focal genres of the novel!
