This is the story of Noviko Tanaka-LaCroix in the year 2372 CE. In her world, the citizens of Syndicate share everything with each other -- your eyes are the eyes of everyone else. Secrecy is a luxury few can afford.

Noviko is a new mother, and a healer in her community. When she stumbles across an old man with severe mental illness, agents of Syndicate compel her into healing his mind. In doing so, her life goes viral, and the very fabric of who she is is put under scrutiny. Worse, she becomes wracked by visions of an alien language, and must endure the scathing eye of society and her own unraveling sanity as she goes on a quest for answers.

She may find things she cannot unsee, and get answers to questions she regrets asking. Will she survive with her mind in tact?
