Mike Cullen, a relatively normal American...if you forget about the rather messed up childhood and choice to follow a modified old world religion, decided to take a shortcut home in the hopes of producing an alibi to keep his job.

The shortcut turns out to be a lot longer than he anticipated when he encounters a trio planning to mug him.

In the process of taking out the frustration of his spoiled alibi on the culprits, one pulls a gun as he's giving the final blow to the second of the three would be muggers.

The last thing Mike sees is the flash of a beretta barrel at point blank range.

Then nothing but darkness, alone with his thoughts, until an emerald-green ball of light appears before him.

The light turns out to be none other than Cernunnos, the God in charge of the flow of life in the very same old world religion he follows.

And he welcomes Mike to a new life, in a new land...The Beast Lands.

This is my first story on here. I don't promise perfection, I'm not an English teacher. It should be pretty easy to understand though. Comments and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism are welcome. Trolls will be ignored or laughed at, depending on the content.

The MC in this story is intended to be ""human"", in the hopes he would be more relatable to the readers; but also, just because I prefer anti-heroes or MCs who exist in that grey area. Though he will get rather OP later in the story, he wont start that way, and he didn't come that way...no world class assassin or merc here. He's just someone who's had a lot of real experience in fights, so expect more brutal and to the point than flashy. Though flashy may happen on accident on occasion.

The story pulls from Irish myth, legend, and pagan concepts. The concept of rebirth is used, not reincarnation. Rebirth uses the concept that the soul determines the vessel(body).

While this is a harem, you won't find a dense MC here. He's starting as an openly admitted pervert, and he will stay that way. New Harem members will be spread out to allow for character development of the love interests, and adequate time to get attached to each one in turn.
