Legend speaks that a roaring force of insatiable abyss lies beneath the peaceful overworld. Named the Rift after its chasm-like entrances, this unexplored void has consumed the underneath for eons. What had seemed just a myth crawled out of unreality in the form of eldritch creatures.

Reborn as a half-blood, mankind rejected the boy and hunted him down. Now, forced into the depths of the Rift, he had to live in a world run by monsters as a newborn. Surviving, however, wasn't his only difficulty as he soon had to decide whether he would save the people who banished him or simply idle as the Rift engulfed all life.

Here are a couple of things to expect:

Lots of action and exploration!

Diverse and refreshing creatures; There are good and evil.

Satisfying progression and coming of age.

The protagonist stands out but isn't overpowered. And despite what the tags and cover suggest, he isn't excessively edgy.

There are some litRPG elements, but it's not a determinant factor. The fights are decided through one's combat skill and experience and not stat-checking.

There is some gore, but the story isn't centered around it, nor is there profanity.

Occasionally, there will be images of the scenery and landscape.

All the chapters will be longer than 1,5k words (except special chapters).
