Exiled into an empty plane with nothing but a katana and the clothes on his back, 17-year-old Lucian has lived in the infinite whiteness for nearly a hundred thousand years. For while Lucian was away, beings called Gods have come to the Barshong Plane. Possessing enormous strength and power, these Gods brought with them their system of Cultivation. All humans on the Barshong Plane now have the ability to Cultivate, growing their Inner Strength to greatly enhance their power, and eventually attempt to reach Godhood themselves.
